UHP Inventor To Sell Lamps Directly
Saturday, January 3rd, 2009Philips, the self-proclaimed inventor of UHP technology has decided to sell lamps directly to consumers. You’ll find their ad when you search online, it appears they are only bidding to show on searches done on Google.
While they may be the originator of the technology which powers DLP lamps, their pricing is horrible. They charge $169 for an XL-2100U lamp when you can pick one up for $95. The pricing is probably a result of the agreements Philips has with other companies who sell their product.
